About the Horse
Goldie as we call him around the barn is a foundation bred quarter horse. Goldie is the last foal out of my foundation cutting mare Nitro Express. She herself was foundation bred and an awesome cutter and reining horse. After Nitro was retired from the cutting show ring, my brother started riding her in reining classes that she took a liking to it and she started bringing in the trophys for reining as well. Nitro was sadly euthinized due to health reasons summer 2012. Now her son is following in her footsteps.
